Jamie Lam has been serving on staff the last 7 years with Epic. She graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Liberal Studies degree and after interning for a year at UCI with Epic, she went back to graduate school to get her Masters degree and teaching credentials. She taught 4th. 6th, and 8th grade Algebra in the Corona Norco Unified School District before joining staff in 2009. Jamie has recently transitioned back to her So Cal roots and a new role on the Epic National Field Ministry team after living and serving in Oahu, Hawaii for the last 6 years. Dong Whan and his wife Jung Sook are seasoned staff, having served in the ministry for well over 20 years. However, they still have the same youthful passion and devotion for Christ from the time they first joined. Dong Whan first arrived in America from South Korea in 1996.

Title: Is Your Life Truly the ‘Right’ Circle? (An Exposition of the Warning Passages in Hebrews)

Synopsis

In the Epistle to the Hebrews, the author warns his readers five times about the danger of drifting away from Christ. The troubling element is that the author addresses people who have once made professions of faith in Christ (i.e., they too have “chosen the right circle”). Nevertheless, the author warns such people to fear that they might not enter the eternal rest of God (Heb. 4:1). What is the warning that God is giving to His people today? What then shall we do, in light of this warning? Find out in our study of this extremely important letter in the New Testament.

William Chung is married to his most beautiful wife Andrea Chung and currently lives in San Quintin, Mexico. He is currently the Ministry Director at 4 Christ Mission, a missions’ organization dedicated to spreading the Word and love of Christ among the nations by mobilizing youth and young adults to engage in world missions. Before becoming the Ministry Director at 4 Christ Mission, William served as a youth and college pastor for 8 years in Orange Country, California.

Born and raised in Korea, William was deported from Korea for selling drugs and moved to Champaign, Illinois when he was 15. On February 18, 2006, he radically experienced the living God at a revival being held at a small local church. He became a youth pastor at the age of 18. He travels around the country preaching to young people to live radical lives for Christ. He graduated from Talbot School of Theology with his M.Div and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry  at Dallas Theological Seminary.
